This program is for first-time offenders and those seeking education on alcohol use. It typically involves a 12-hour course focused on alcohol’s effects, risks, and responsible drinking strategies. For individuals without no prior offenses, no prior diagnosis of substance abuse or
substance dependence, and no other problems related to alcohol and other drugs use or misuse.
For individuals with a more extensive history of alcohol-related issues or multiple offenses, a longer-term treatment program (e.g., 26 or 52 weeks) may be required. These programs offer more intensive therapy, counseling, and support to address underlying issues related to substance use.
The participant has been convicted of more than one alcohol or drug-related traffic offense.
A 6-session anger management program typically involves six separate sessions, each focusing
on different aspects of anger management. These sessions, often part of a longer program, cover topics such as understanding anger, identifying triggers, developing coping mechanisms, and improving communication and conflict resolution skills.
The goal is to help individuals
manage their anger more effectively and reduce its negative impact on their lives.
